We’re back from an amazing week in the Italian Alps, spent with Acorn Adventure in the tiny town of Villeneuve an amazing week was had by all. The diary is already published on the website with photos and videos to follow.

We’re back from Vietnam and it all seems like a distant memory, but while we’ve still got photos to sort a video to make and a parents evening to hold we’re already looking at what else we can do!

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone that helped fundraise and donated towards our expedition to Vietnam raising an amazing £34,000. We raised funds with Quizzes, The £5 Challenge, Selling donated items on eBay, Car Boot Sales, Clothes/Ink Cartridge/Mobile Phone recycling, Tent Pitching, Bag Packing, a Music night, Bingo, Car Washes, Collecting in Town and a Curry Night & Promise Auction. 25 Explorer Scouts and Leaders undertook a 3 week expedition to Vietnam in July 2015, the trip booked with Schools Worldwide saw us undertake a construction project in a local community before heading out to explore the country by train, travelling North to South.

Last weekend saw one of our Leaders Kate setup a cream tea stall in Manor Gardens as part of Exmouth Festival.

Manning the stall from Saturday until the Bank Holiday Monday and helped by both parents and Explorers she sold cream teas and cakes raising an amazing £655. Read more…
