The Exmouth & Budleigh Salterton Explorer Scout Unit was formed in September 2002. We meet on Monday evenings and get involved in many activities ranging from weekends away, to building and running Assault Courses for the local Scout and Cub Sections.
Alongside this we take part in a Summer Camp each year that has seen us travel to France, Jersey, Ireland, Scotland, The Lake District and Climb the 3 Peaks (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon). We have also travelled further afield to Namibia in 2009 where we built a playpark for a local school and to Vietnam in 2015 that saw us rebuild a building at a local school in the Sapa region and travel the entire length of the country!
